Each year we run an Unaffiliated Championship for dressage and showjumping competitors. All of our unaffiliated competitions are qualifiers for these Championships and various venues in the South West also hold qualifiers for us.

South West Hartpury Show Jumping Championships

Held at Hartpury on Saturday 20th May 2023

These Championships are not affiliated to British Showjumping

Qualifying Criteria for Unaffiliated Showjumping competitions from 1st September 2022 – 7th May 2023

• The top 3 horse/rider combinations qualify providing they have jumped clear in the first round
• British Showjumping members are not eligible to qualify for Class 1
• Horses registered with British Showjumping who have won more than 125 points at the time of qualification are not eligible for Class 2 or 3
• British Showjumping members who are in the Gold League are not eligible for qualification in any class.
• In the event that you have gained qualification in more than one different height section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championships per rider
• Winning combinations of championship classes in 2022 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower height championship class in 2023.

South West Hartpury Dressage Championships

Held in The Hartpury Arena Sunday 21st May 2023

These Championships are not affiliated to British Dressage

Qualifying Criteria for Unaffiliated Dressage Competitions from 1st September 2022 – 7th May 2023

• The top 2 horse/rider combinations must have attained a mark of 64%.
• Restrictions for horses that are or have been registered to British Dressage
• Preliminary qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Novice or above at the time of qualification
• Novice qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Elementary or above at time of qualification
• Elementary qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Medium or above at time of qualification
• In the event that you have gained qualification in more than one different section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championship Classes.
• Winning combinations of championship classes in 2022 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower level championship class in 2023.
• Entries must be received by 10th May 2023.
