The Acorns embark on a 304-mile round trip, for our final away game of season, as we face already relegated Tavistock AFC, on Saturday.
The Acorns will be looking to find their winning momentum back, heading to Devon of the back off three successive defeats in the Southern League Div One South.
Ahead of our trip to Langsford Park, here is everything you need to know about Tavistock.
THE OPPOSITION – TAVISTOCK AFC
STADIUM – Langsford Park
NICKNAME – The Lambs
FOUNDED – 1888

LAST TIME OUT
It was a resounding December Tuesday evening when the Acorns last faced the Lambs, running out 6-1 winners on the night.
Billy Osborn and Nathan Jenkins got the evening started before a Noah Coates brace, either side of the half, put the Acorns in cruise control.
Vanylson Silva and Drew Robinson completed the Acorns scoring spree before Jack Crago secured a consolation goal, late into the game.
WHAT’S HAPPENED SINCE?
This hasn’t been the easiest of season’s for the Lambs who will complete the season at the foot of the table, currently amassing 13 points in 40 games.
The Lambs are currently suffering a run of 10 straight defeats and are winless in their last 28 games, with their last victory coming back in October seeing them defeat Bashley 1-0.
That win was just one of three wins that the Lambs have secured this season and was one of just two home wins for the club.
It’s been a struggle defensively for the Lambs in recent weeks, as the side have shipped 17 goals in their last five games and have conceded three plus goals in each of their last eight.
PLAYER TO WATCH – JACK CRAGO
In a side that has struggled this season, Jack Crago has managed to pick up nine goals for himself in 31 games.
His latest goal came back on Good Friday when he gave the Lambs the lead against promotion contenders, Malvern Town.
That goal ended a drought of 11 games without a goal for Crago, a run that dated back to February 14th.
