I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2007 with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy. I then worked in the NHS acute and subsequently private sector as a Chartered Physiotherapist. Whilst working with human patients I completed my MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London (2011). I continued in the human sphere, working as a clinical lead for patients on home oxygen therapy whilst building my own business. In 2016, I committed fully to my own business allowing me to work more as both a human and veterinary physiotherapist. I decided I then wanted to do a PhD and completed it at Hartpury University, looking at equine gait-related eliminations in endurance competitions. As I enjoyed my studying at Hartpury, I then started to lecture on the MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy course.
