I completed a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science at Bishop Burton College and an MSc in Equine Science at University of Edinburgh. I was an orthopaedic research assistant at the Animal Health Trust from 2011 publishing projects on equine biomechanics, training and rehabilitation of sports horses. I’ve presented this work at both national and international conferences and to lay audiences within the UK.
I lectured alongside my research role since 2012 and moved to Hartpury in November 2020 and am currently the programme manager for BSc (Hons) Equine Performance and Rehabilitation. I’m about to complete my DPhil on the effect of selected exercise interventions on equine kinematics and their potential application to training and rehabilitation.
