I am a former professional rider, competing in eventing and show jumping. Academically, I competed my undergraduate degree in Sport and Human Movement; MSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching and currently competing a DPhil in Equestrian Sports Medicine and Biomechanics. I am passionate about developing and improving ethical, evidenced-based coaching and performance in equestrian sport world-wide. I have published research in international peer reviewed journals and presented at many international conferences. I work with several partners including the FEI, IGEQ, EEN to disseminate this research to the wider equestrian community. My research and industry experience enables me to contextualise theories into practice within my teaching and learning.
