Having been brought up in Gloucestershire Fiona left to study at Bristol University before moving to London where she started her career which now spans over 30 years working in PR predominately focused on the tourism, hospitality, crisis communications and wellbeing sectors.
She has headed up publicity campaigns for many destinations during their hosting of major sporting events including the Olympics in Australia and Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and Australia, before consulting for England and Lions Rugby Travel for over five years. More recently she returned to the Wye Valley where she now lives with her family running her own consultancy, Travel Tonic, working for a mix of clients including domestic tourist boards, specialist accommodation and tour operators.
