Career Overview

Andy joined Hartpury in September 2022 as Vice-Chancellor, Principal and Chief Executive after 11 years at De Montfort University where he held a number of positions including Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Interim Vice-Chancellor. After a first degree in Mechanical Engineering, Andy was awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge and a DSc from the University of Nottingham.
