Career Overview

I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1997, working in the NHS at the Royal Free Hospital until 2000 before moving to a full-time position in Sport. I was the Lead Physiotherapist at London Irish RFC, alongside my role as England U21 Physiotherapist until 2004, when I took a year out to complete a Masters in Sports Medicine at Trinity College, Dublin. In 2005 I moved to Gloucestershire and took on the role of Head of Medical Services at Gloucester Rugby, based at Hartpury College. This was followed by roles as Head of Sports Medicine at Bristol Rugby until 2010 when I started at Hartpury as a full-time Lecturer, completing my PGcert the following year. I returned to full-time elite sport with Bath Rugby between 2012 and 2015 before returning to Hartpury University in my current roles.
