Four students shortlisted for prestigious LANTRA Land-based and Environment Learner Awards

Hartpury University and Hartpury College are delighted to announce that four exceptional students have been shortlisted for the prestigious Land-based & Environment Learner Awards (LANTRA), recognising excellence, commitment, and emerging talent across land-based and environmental industries.

The shortlist includes two college and two university students, highlighting the strength and breadth of Hartpury’s teaching, learning environment, and student achievement.

College Finalists

·       Louis NormanLevel 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Science

·       Mimi DeanLevel 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management

Both students completed their studies at Hartpury College last year and have been recognised for their dedication, practical skill, and passion for their respective fields.

University Finalists

·       Ellie Thorpe - BSc (Hons) Zoology

·       Ellie Martin - MSc Biodiversity Conservation

Their nominations reflect outstanding academic performance, research engagement, and commitment to conservation and environmental science.

The LANTRA awards celebrate the next generation of skilled professionals entering vital industries including animal management, land management, conservation, and equine science. Hartpury’s strong representation in this year’s shortlist reflects its continued commitment to delivering high-quality education and preparing students for impactful careers.

Winners will be announced at the upcoming awards ceremony, where Hartpury will be cheering on all four finalists.
