Our Terms and Conditions are published on this page. These, together with the information published about your programme, form the basis of the relationship between you and Hartpury. If we make you an offer, it’s on the basis that in accepting your offer, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

These form part of the contract between you and Hartpury. They apply from when you accept your offer, until you’re no longer an undergraduate student at Hartpury.

Admissions policy

This policy applies to all students studying undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Hartpury. It sets out how the fees are calculated, any future increases you may be subject to, and any additional course-specific charges.

Tuition fee policy

We strive to ensure our admissions processes promote fair access and equality of opportunity, and align with sector good practice. A Contextual Offer is an offer that recognises the potential of students whose personal circumstances may have restricted achievement at school or college.

Academic Regulations and Procedures
These regulations set out how degrees are delivered and what you can expect as a student.

Complaints procedure
This details the way that any complaint is managed (including timescales) who any complaint should be addressed to, the types of outcome and the appeals process.

Intellectual Property policy
Our Intellectual Property (IP) policy refers to the way we approach IP. Intellectual property refers to the ownership of an ideas, information and knowledge. In normal circumstances, any IP created by you during your studies will belong to you. There are some exceptions to this rule, often where an external organisation is involved.

All of this information is available on our website. The purpose of these documents is to help you to make an informed decision about your choice of higher education provider and course. If any of these details change you will be informed prior to enrolling on your course.

Notice of right to cancel

After accepting an offer of a place you have the right to cancel your place at Hartpury within 14 days from the date you accepted the offer without giving any reason, subject to the Consumers Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform Hartpury of your decision to cancel this contract in a clear written statement. This can be sent by post or email to the Admissions team. You can also fill in and submit the model cancellation form contained within the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the clear statement on our website in the form below. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgment of receipt of such a cancellation by email without delay.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
