It’s never too early to start thinking about your future and there’s a lot to consider when applying for university.
We review every part of your application – your qualifications, personal statement, references and relevant experience – to decide if you will be a good fit for Hartpury and your chosen course. Here's everything you need to know about applying.
Our UCAS code is H22. You’ll have up to five choices on your application. You don't have to decide which one is your Firm choice yet.
If you are applying for a Top-up Level 6 or Diploma in Professional Studies course at Hartpury University you can apply directly through our website.
If you're at a school or college, they'll add a reference to your application before submitting it to UCAS. If you're applying independently, your reference will be contacted by UCAS. You'll be notified once it has been completed, after which you can submit your application.
UCAS will let you know that they have received your application. We, and your other choices, will receive it too.
If we make you an offer
You’ll get your offer letter and information pack.
If we don’t feel we can make you an offer
We might be able to offer you an alternative. We'll get in touch to discuss options.
A conditional offer means you’ll have a guaranteed place providing you meet the conditions of your offer – usually specific exam results. An unconditional offer means you have a guaranteed place on your course.
If you've received an offer, we'll invite you to attend an Applicant Event. It's a great opportunity to experience interactive subject sessions and get a taste of student life. This will help you decide whether to make us your Firm UCAS choice. If you've already decided, it's still worth attending to get to know your future classmates and lecturers.
Make sure you've accepted your Firm and Insurance choice in UCAS (check the UCAS website for dates). Your Firm choice will be the university that you attend, providing you meet requirements (for conditional offers).
If you're not holding any places, either because you've not received any or you've changed your mind and declined them, you can use UCAS Extra or Clearing to help you find a place.
If you're expecting results between May and August, you’ll receive your exam results and find out if you’ve met your conditional offer. When you do, we'll send you lots of information about your next steps and joining Hartpury. You can log on to UCAS to check we've confirmed your place. Congratulations!
We accept students into every year of our degrees. If you’ve already started your degree at another university, you could still join Hartpury in your second or third year and graduate with a full degree. Our dedicated wellbeing staff will support you as you settle in, and your academic tutor will help you adjust to your new course.
