Visit Hartpury (Optional)
If you're able to visit the UK, we'd love to meet you at an Offer Holder Day or on a campus tour.
Please note: visiting campus is completely optional and is not a requirement for accepting your offer or enrolling at Hartpury.
If your offer is conditional, you'll need to provide any outstanding documents required to confirm your place.
This may include:
Academic transcripts and certificates
English language test results (if required)
You can upload your documents using our Document Collection Form or email them to international@hartpury.ac.uk.
Once you've met all the requirements of your offer, your place can be confirmed.
If your results are lower than expected, please don't worry. Send us your results and contact the International Team, as we may be able to discuss alternative courses or pathways available to you.
All students must demonstrate a suitable level of English language proficiency before starting their studies at Hartpury. This helps ensure you can succeed academically and make the most of your time studying and living in the UK. If you require a Student visa, you may also need to provide proof of your English language ability through a recognised English language test as part of your visa application.
Before you can apply for your Student visa, you'll need to:
Pay your tuition fee deposit
Provide evidence of approved student funding or finance (where applicable)
Complete a CAS application
Look out for an email from our Finance Team with your tuition fee invoice and details of how to make your payment. You'll also receive an email inviting you to create an account and complete your CAS application through CAS Shield.
If you're funding your studies through a government, federal or provincial student loan scheme (such as FAFSA, Sallie Mae or OSAP), you should apply for this as early as possible and let us know that you plan to use this funding. You may also need to provide supporting evidence as part of the CAS process.
What is a CAS?
A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is an official document issued by Hartpury that you'll need before you can apply for your Student visa. It contains a unique reference number required as part of your visa application.
Once your CAS application has been approved, we'll issue your CAS letter. You cannot submit your Student visa application until you have received your CAS.
Once you have received your CAS, you can submit your Student visa application through the UK Government website.
If you do not hold a UK or Republic of Ireland passport, you will usually need a Student visa to study in the UK. You can apply for your visa up to six months before your course start date.
Applying for a visa can seem complicated, but don't worry. Our International Team will guide you through the process and provide support with both new Student visa applications and visa renewals.
