Successful completion of the Chinese Senior High School Graduation Certificate with an average grade of 75% or above and completion of the core Aptitude Scholastic Test (AST) in Maths and English with a grade of 180 or above in each. For courses with a science pre-requisite, AST Biology with a grade of 180 or above is also required.

To study at Hartpury you must demonstrate that your English language ability meets the requirements for university-level study. We accept a number of Secure English Language Tests (SELT) for entry onto our degree courses, with IELTS being the most common.
Regional Scholarships
We are offering £1,000 scholarships to Chinese undergraduate and postgraduate applicants joining Hartpury University in September 2026.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will be awarded automatically once your application has been approved.
The award will be applied as a tuition fee discount against your first year of study. To retain the scholarship in subsequent years, you will be required to maintain a minimum overall grade average of 60% (upper second-class).
