Accommodation options
If being surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside and a couple of minutes from your classes is your dream, living on campus could be the option for you. Our beautiful 360-hectare campus offers stunning country walks and hacking routes, multiple pitches and over 70 animal species.
Blackfriars, managed by Cityheart Living, is a popular choice amongst students seeking city living, offering modern living spaces, large communal areas and en-suite rooms with queen-size beds. It's a great home away from home, with everything you need to study at Hartpury.
Private accommodation is also available locally for those who want to live nearby and have more independence. While Gloucester and Cheltenham are the most popular options, beautiful picturesque villages also surround Hartpury. Finding your own private accommodation allows you the flexibility to choose which facilities are important to you, and where specifically you want to live.
Applying for your accommodation
You can apply for Hartpury accommodation whether you've made your firm choice or are still considering your options. Remember: First year undergraduate students are guaranteed accommodation.*
However, accommodation won't be allocated until you have made us your firm choice.
Private accommodation
For more independent living, you may wish to stay in local private accommodation. Gloucester, Cheltenham, Hartpury, and surrounding villages offer various accommodation options, giving you greater flexibility in where you want to live, based on what facilities are important to you.

*Students living within a 15 mile radius of Hartpury are expected to commute and applications will only be considered from these students if vacancies occur after rooms have been allocated to all applicants living outside this radius.
