Postgraduate accommodation

Whilst we don't offer on-site accommodation for home postgraduate students, we do offer accommodation to international fee-paying students.

There are plenty of options nearby, giving you greater flexibility in choosing where to stay or live. Our campus is surrounded by beautiful villages, but we're also close to bustling Gloucester and Cheltenham, both accessible via road and rail.

We can provide information about local trusted landlords, hotels, as well as bed and breakfasts near our beautiful rural campus, as well as Gloucester city and Cheltenham town nearby.

International students

We offer accommodation at Hartpury Gloucester (Blackfriars) for international fee-paying postgraduate students.

Blackfriars, managed by Aspire Student Living, is a popular choice amongst students seeking city living, offering modern living spaces, large communal areas and en-suite rooms with queen-size beds. It's a great home away from home, with everything you need to study at Hartpury.

Guarantor

To secure your Blackfriars accommodation, you will need to have a guarantor to sign your tenancy agreement.

A guarantor is somebody who legally agrees to be responsible for any owed rent, the property and its’ condition. In order for someone to be a guarantor they will need to have a UK based address and bank account.

Having a guarantor is like having a back-up for both you and the landlord. If you cannot pay your rent or pay for damages, a guarantor will be legally bound to do so.

Getting to Hartpury

Hartpury is located on the A417, just four miles north of Gloucester, and is easily accessible from the M5, M50 and M4. There are various ways you can get to campus through public transport or by your own means.

By bus

The Hartpury Shuttle bus service to Gloucester is operated via the Zeelo booking platform. Details on how to book tickets, ticket options and timetables are available via Zeelo.

By rail
